Volunteer and Get Involved

Do you have a passion or want to help others? Volunteer with a ministry that is doing some exciting things in the DMV (DC, MD, and VA)! Just complete the following steps:

COMPLETE THE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION (if requested)

ATTEND THE VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION (As Scheduled)

SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER POSITION

After you complete the volunteer application, you will be scheduled to attend the volunteer orientation.

Upon request, please complete your background check by visiting MyBackgroundcheck.com.

Please note background checks are $8. Additional charges may occur if criminal charges are present.

Current Volunteering Opportunities

Fellowship Breakfast "Robert Fuller Transition House": Volunteers will deliver  breakfast to the residents. Delivery Time: 7:30-7:45

Dinner Provider "The Carpenters Shelter": Volunteers will prepare, cook, and serve dinner to the residents. Time: 5:30-7:00pm

Veterans Support Activities: Volunteers will participate in various opportunities supporting veterans and their families. Times and dates vary.

Operation Let's Eat: Receive and sort food donations, stock shelves, prepare food bags for clients, prepare and serve food for local shelters, assist with maintaining client databases, etc.

Basic Computer Skills Outreach Program: Assist with class registration and instructing, assist with classroom and equipment setup, hand out class materials, etc.

Future Volunteering Opportunities

Operation Shop The Closet: Receive and sort clothing, assist with display setups, assist with client fittings, prepare clothing orders for clients, assist with maintaining client database, etc.
